Who it’s for:
This beginner Precision Rifle Series training course introduces new shooters to the safety, equipment, fundamentals, positional skills, stage strategy and match preparation needed to participate confidently in a local PRS-style match. (cal.) 6mm & bigger
Duration:
Saturday August 8th
9am to 5pm
What you’ll learn:
• PRS-style match format
• Safe rifle handling, including muzzle discipline, chamber control and communication on the fire line
• How to execute a consistent shot process
• How to apply wind corrections, and build stable positions
What to bring:
• Rifle capable of consistent accuracy, with a safe trigger and reliable magazine system
• Scope with adjustable elevation and windage turrets
• Minimum two magazines and enough appropriate ammunition (100 rds)
• Bipod, rear bag, barricade bag, data cord or notebook and pen.
• Eye and hearing protection, weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and basic tools
